Visit Big Pit

The Big Pit National Coal Museum is an old mine which was in operation until the 1980's. Today this site is a mining museum's most important Great Britain that we visited.

The visit includes a multi-media tour of the modern coal mine with a minor online. The goal is to see what the lives of thousands mens who worked in the coal mine.

Even if the guide spoken in English and therefore I didn't understand everything, he had a very communicative enthusiasm and he was funny (our teacher we summarized what he said).
What I was preferred the visit to the coalmine to 300 feet underground.
